Overview
Dap Nèvbo was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1136, by Scaibihn Hooley Williams. The establishment of Dap Nèvbo was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Scaibihn Hooley Williams struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Dap Nèvbo as a prison colony.
Dap Nèvbo was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dap Nèvbo is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Dap Nèvbo is is constructed arround a series of spacious gravel mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. The city's millitarily questionable fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.
Right off the bat Dap Nèvbo hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this city has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. This wealth has brought the city nothing but neurosis, if you can believe your eyes. Everyone acts as if you’re out to take a piece of them. Every door is locked and every window barred. Efforts are made to make you feel welcome, but only in the public areas of the city, particularly the market.

Cultural Notes
The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.
Dap Nèvbo's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.
In Dap Nèvbo there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Zipueka Holt was struck by a drought when Pond Arethusa grew too small to continue feeding Waterway Wargate, which reduced the available water supply nationwide, but was especially harsh in the area arround Dap Nèvbo. As the neighboring regions had no water so spare, Dap Nèvbo lost 266 people, and 165 livestock in the disaster.. The drought lasted for 4 weeks, which are remembered as the Damnation Thirst.
